90-Minute Stress Test

Batteries degrade over time. We perform the required 90-minute drain test to ensure your exit signs stay lit long enough for everyone to evacuate safely.

Generator Load Banking

Diesel stagnation kills generators. We hook up a load bank to run your generator at full capacity, burning off wet-stacking carbon deposits and proving reliability.

Direct Brycer Submission

We handle the bureaucratic headache. Our team submits all official Annual Emergency Power reports directly to The Compliance Engine (Brycer).

Emergency Power FAQ

What is a 90-minute battery test?

Answer: Reg 4 requires all emergency exit signs and egress lighting to stay illuminated for a full 90 minutes during a simulated power outage. We drain them to verify they last the full duration.

Why do I need to load bank my generator?

Answer: Generators that only run lightly (during weekly tests) build up carbon ("wet stacking"). Load banking runs them at 100% capacity to burn this off and prove they can actually power your building in an emergency.

Do you replace batteries?

Answer: Yes, we carry standard 4Ah, 7Ah, and 12Ah sealed lead-acid batteries, as well as NiCad packs for exit signs. We can usually swap dead batteries on the same visit.

How often is testing required?

Answer: Emergency lighting and generators require an Annual certification test under Los Angeles Regulation 4.
